Over the past two weeks
Planet Drapers’ have been investigating fair trade products with the hope that
we may be able to introduce fair trade products into the school. We have been
finding out why fair trade is so important and why it would be good for the
school to purchase these products. We hope to be able to pitch our ideas to the
management team soon. We have also been growing our vegetables at home, which we
will be bringing into school shortly to put in the greenhouse. Our first
greenhouse was a bit of a disaster though as it got blown around the quad and
destroyed by the wind before we put anything in it! We hope to have a new one
soon.
